Science Expert Urges Senate Investigators to Consider Overlooked Intelligence in Anthrax Mailings Along With 9-11 Attacks

Sandpoint, ID - A leading health science expert has linked the anthrax mailings to Sept. 11 attacks, and urged Senate investigators to consider overlooked evidence that suggests FBI and CIA incompetence or complicity in a cover-up. Dr. Leonard G. Horowitz accuses intelligence officials of neglecting critical information that might have prevented the anthrax mailings and brought sought terrorists to justice.

In a letter to Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, the Harvard degreed bioterrorism investigator referred to several failed efforts to get the FBI to attend to "critical evidence" in the anthrax mailings which theoretically linked the perpetrators to the Sept. 11 attacks. One week before the first anthrax mailing was reported by the press, the doctor presented agency officials with incriminating documents implicating several collaborating military industrialists and multinational drug firms, currently under FBI suspicion. The intelligence predated, and virtually predicted, a conspiracy to commit anthrax-related crimes. The motives for this and 9-11, the doctor believes, are much the same. Both attacks altered public opinion and prompted legislation in support of companies seeking lucrative government contracts for thousands of items ranging from costly vaccines to defense technologies mainly benefiting the chief suspects.

This new form of "white collar" crime, designed to prompt legislation and the defense and security industries, was the subject of the doctor's prophetically titled thirteenth book, Death in the Air: Globlism, Terrorism and Toxic Warfare (1-888-508-4787). The book arrived on store shelves three months before the airborne anthrax attacks and Sept. 11 hijackings.

On October 1, 2001, the Harvard graduate award-winning author hand delivered a copy of his text to the FBI, followed by a series of written reports currently archived on his publisher's website (http://www.tetrahedron.org/). All the evidence he presented suggested a broad conspiracy. The first anthrax mailing was announced to have struck the American Media, Inc. building in South Florida one week later. The intelligence cited in the book, followed by news programs in which drug companies seeking lucrative contracts had apparently influenced news producers' glowing reports on their products, including the now widely debunked anthrax antibiotic Cipro, and poorly-tested anthrax vaccine, prompted the doctor to contact the FBI.

Dr. Horowitz told Senator Daschle that the failure of the FBI and CIA to operate effectively in these instances reflects the broad-based political power of corporate suspects who have thus far managed to operate "above the law" and "make a killing." (end)

Dear Senator Daschle:

This letter is in follow-up to several previous communications, and two visits to your office in which I personally met with members of your staff regarding issues of biological warfare and bioterrorism-topics of utmost urgency to the American people and your current congressional activities. Despite my efforts, I still have not received any formal response from you. This is particularly disturbing in the wake of your announced effort to formally investigate U.S. intelligence agencies' deficiencies concerning the 9-11 attacks.

On Wednesday, April 17, 2002, I visited your office the day before my appearance as an Honorary U.S. Autism Ambassador on a panel chosen by Rep. Shays to cross examine NIH and CDC officials (during Dan Burton's inquiry) concerning vaccine-induced heavy metal toxicity and skyrocketing autism rates. I met with your staff manager and two security officials. We discussed the anthrax that was sent to your office and the stalled FBI investigation. For a half hour I detailed links between vaccine company officials, Bioport, the Battelle Memorial Institute, Bayer, Aventis/Acambis, the Institute for Genomic Research (TIGR), and the CIA's top secret anthrax programs called "Clear Vision" and "Project Jefferson." One month earlier (March 13, 2002), I relayed the same information to two FBI agents assigned to interrogate me concerning this knowledge. I informed them, as I had initially relayed to the FBI office in Idaho, Director Mueller's office in Washington, and my network over the Internet, that pharmaceutical profiteers were capitalizing on bioterrorism and were highly incriminated in these anthrax mailings. Concerning this matter of extreme urgency to the American people, and your office's own victimization, I still await a response.

Approximately three years ago I was invited by your staff to meet with your health committee director. During this meeting I donated a copy of my national bestseller, Emerging Viruses: AIDS & Ebola-Nature, Accident or Intentional? In this text, National Institutes of Health (NIH)/National Cancer Institute (NCI) "Special Virus Cancer Program (SVCP) contracts were reprinted detailing the laboratory origins of AIDS-like and Ebola-like viruses. Centrally implicated were the leading U.S. biological weapons contractors Litton Bionetics and the Merck pharmaceutical company. Their experimental hepatitis B vaccine program incorporated viruses from contaminated chimpanzees-viruses now scientifically linked to HIV/AIDS, numerous cancers, and autoimmune diseases. This subject is currently under investigation by the U.S. General Accounting Office (contact: Larry Solomon 202-512-3227). At that time, your director assured me that you would receive, and reply to, this information. I still await your response.

Currently, concerning your efforts to evaluate the FBI's terrorism detection capabilities and foreknowledge concerning the 9-11 attacks, I have vital information that demands consideration and an official response. Last June, fully three months before the 9-11 attacks, my publisher released my thirteenth book entitled, Death in the Air: Globalism, Terrorism and Toxic Warfare. More than 1,000 copies were donated and distributed to members of Congress including your office. The prophetic title speaks to the urgent and predictive content which exposes those who operate "above the law" at the forefront of global terrorism, particularly bioterrorism, and chemical and biological warfare. Based on the information contained in this book, on October 1, 2002, one week before the press first announced the Florida anthrax mailing case, I warned my local FBI office and Director Mueller concerning this growing obvious threat to U.S. national security and public health. My premonition and accurate prediction was based on insight into pharmaceutical companies, industrial sabotage, and CIA covert operations. I, and the American people, still await a formal response from Director Mueller, your office, and other members of congress, in this regard as well.

Senator Daschle, if you sincerely intend to investigate America's intelligence organizations in an effort to secure your constituents' freedoms, public health and our national security, the information which I relay, and urge your reply, is imperative.
